POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Professional will take the lead role in performing administrative tasks for office staff while coordinating activities within the engineering department. Interacts with the clients and staff to assist in the execution of objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and maintain construction administration project controls, including shop drawings, RFI logs, etc.
- Prepare AIA contracts and proposal letters
- Assist with specifications editing and formatting
- Prepare transmittals
- Assist in technical, administrative tasks such as data entry, logging shop drawings and requests for information etc.
- Prepare and submit department billing review reports, invoicing, and expenses per accounting requirements
- Create, format, prepare and proof-read documents for reports and other department documents
- Assist in day-to-day activities, including coordinating and managing meetings, department schedules, vacation schedules, travel arrangements, and other general office duties.
- Provide project scheduling support
- Provide administrative and clerical support as directed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree (preferred)
- 5 to 7 years administrative experience, with experience in AEC (architect, construction or engineering) strongly preferred
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Department: Power & Infrastructure
- Perform electrical engineering design duties under the supervision of the Director of Electrical Engineering
- Design grid-connected power generation systems including electrical single-line diagrams, grid interconnection applications, and associated balance of electrical systems
- Develop electrical equipment, materials and installation specifications
- Evaluate equipment proposals and review technical submittals
- Assist in project coordination with other engineering disciplines
- Perform calculations and analysis reports: load flow, short circuit, relay & breaker coordination, arc flash, grounding, cable sizing, etc.
- Layout electrical equipment, route conduit, duct bank and cable systems
- Develop protection/control single line diagrams, control schematic and wiring diagrams, communication/network diagrams
- Support construction in the office and field by reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and reports, inspecting installation and oversee testing and commissioning.
- Respond to customer and contractor questions
- Participate in site surveys and inspections
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years professional experience with proven progression in engineering, particularly in power, distributive generation, or related field.
- Experience in executing a multi-discipline projects utilizing AutoCad or Revit programs.
- High and Medium voltage systems experience
- Must be knowledgeable of local, state and national code requirements.
- Knowledge and experience engineering grid interconnection of power generation systems: internal combustion engines, combustion turbines, PV solar, battery energy storage
- Knowledge and experience engineering/design: HV and MV substations connecting to grid
- Knowledge and experience specifying grid connecting switchgear and systems
- Knowledge and experience with one or more electric systems modeling software: ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, HOMER

- Serve as technical subject matter expert for multiple areas of mechanical engineering.
- Supervise and manage assigned engineers on each project, providing technical guidance, training and support for junior engineers.
- Perform calculations, modeling, engineering, and code research as required.
- Conduct peer review, technical oversight and quality control of design team’s work products.
- Provide hands-on project management by consistently reviewing project plans and timelines to ensure projects are on time and on budget. Make adjustments to staffing and resources as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Organize and facilitate internal and external client meetings ensuring that all action items are documented and completed.
- Provide project coordination with all involved in the project; internal, external, sub-contractors, etc.
- Work with the VP of group to respond to client issued RFPs. Collaborates with group VP to develop and write bid proposals, contracts, cost estimates, budgets, etc. using the agreed upon Concord methods and standards.
- Establish and maintain excellent client relationship with the goal of maintaining existing clients and receiving referrals for new clients.
- Ensure accurate project accounting, ensuring that project setup, monthly invoicing and accounts receivables are done on a timely basis and in compliance with accounting protocols.
- Participate in trade conferences, business development activities and promotion of Concord Engineering Power and Infrastructure Group commercial and marketing activities.
- Demonstrated experience engineering power infrastructure projects including central utility plants (CUP), combined heat and power (CHP), distributed generation, microgrids.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience specifying and integrating into engineered systems industrial frame combustion turbines, natural gas and diesel internal combustion engines, heat recovery equipment, packaged boilers, chillers and heat pumps, cooling equipment, pumps, and balance of plant mechanical equipment is a requirement.
- Experience with engineering biogas to energy and renewable natural gas highly valued.
- Knowledge of and experience engineering building and industrial HVAC equipment and systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of ground couple geothermal systems is a plus.
- Must be knowledgeable of local, state and national code requirements.
- Must have working knowledge of electrical, controls, structural, civil and architectural discipline requirements.
- Knowledge of power plant process, operations and economics.
- Experience and knowledge in energy efficiency improvement techniques.
- Knowledge and experience with construction requirements, scheduling, trades and OSHA regulations.

circuit analysis where required and prepare technical specifications.
- Provide direct project
