This position will be responsible for the acquisition and management of projects in the greater NJ/NY area as well as personnel management, project execution and project financial performance.
NYC Office Performance
- Manage all aspects of the NYC Commissioning
Office including business development, office personnel, proposal
generation, project execution and job performance profitability.
- Be responsible for direction and development
of the NYC Commissioning Business in conjunction with the Corporate
Commissioning Department growth.
- Manage the implementation of standards and
processes that are to be utilized to streamline and improve the delivered
product to the client and promote ease of execution of the commissioning
process so that efforts can be focused to provide the most value to the
client.
- Manage project profitability and department
billability including the balancing of personnel workload with entire
Concord Commissioning team.

fee estimation, to be reviewed by the SVP, Commissioning before bid

market and competition to better position the team for increasing market

- Be responsible for ensuring the latest
industry technologies are available to the Commissioning personnel,
including the required training for personnel.

new team members as the workload supports, with support from the SVP,
Commissioning.

Concord Energy Services, a division of Concord Engineering Group, Inc., is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of our energy advisory consulting and commodity procurement services in the Mid-Atlantic region, with a primary focus on Pennsylvania and the PJM region. The BDM will be responsible for expanding our client base across electricity and natural gas contracts, as well as value-added services such as utility bill auditing and demand response. REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of proven business development, sales, or account management experience, preferably in the energy sector or related field.

- Knowledge of commercial energy markets within PA and/or the PJM region preferred.

- Serve as Engineering Project Manager for large capital energy infrastructure projects.
- Supervise and manage assigned engineers on each project, providing technical guidance, training and support for junior engineers.
- Conduct peer review, technical oversight and quality control of design team's work products.
