Electrical Engineer Associate
Concord Engineering Group is looking for an Electrical Engineer Associate for our Atlantic City office.


The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Perform engineering calculations, preparing single line diagrams, sizing of electrical components and equipment, conduct short circuit analysis where required and prepare technical specifications.

  • Review projects regularly to ensure departmental standards and requirements are consistent with client requirements and the project budget.

  • Perform design, layout, and checking of electrical systems drawings and ensure the technical correctness of the drawings by using the applicable job, federal, state and local standards and codes.

  • Have good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and International Building Code (IBC), general familiarity with other National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes that may apply to a specific project.

  • Develop specifications, assign area classifications, and review shop drawing submissions to ensure that they comply with necessary codes and standards, correct materials specifications, the project design intent and any other specific guidelines set forth for the job.

  • Perform site surveys, energy audits, attend project meetings and provide field construction support, as required.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
